Stillwater’s Aiden Weichbrodt – Character Counts Athlete Presented By Scott Leming State Farm Insurance

Stillwater senior Aiden Weichbrodt has played soccer for about seven years now, after some friends convinced him to play in elementary school. Some of these friends have continued to be teammates with Weichbrodt over the years, which he says makes it that much better.
“I like working hard with my team to get wins,” he said. “I stay motivated in the field because it’s fun to play with the guys I’ve been playing with for seven years.”
In addition to soccer, Weichbrodt also played basketball for three years for the Pioneers and played football this year. He credits his parents with being his role models and appreciates all the support they’ve given him over the years.
“My parents are always there for me and they are my biggest supporters,” he said.
Weichbrodt looks back on his time playing for Stillwater High with bitter-sweetness. Like all the other seniors whose seasons went unfinished, he wishes that wasn’t the case, but he does have great memories of his high school career.
“I’ve had a blast playing soccer for Coach Condley for four years and wish I could’ve finished out the season with the rest of the seniors,” he said. “My favorite moment was my freshman year when we made it to the state championship game and getting to watch how good our team was that year.”
After graduation Weichbrodt plans to attend college but is still undecided on where.
