Senior at Blackwell High School, Gabrielle Buellesfeld, has been a dedicated Future Farmers of America student since her freshman year. Even though she only started FFA a few short years ago Gabriellle has been around animals a large portion of her life due to her family’s involvement with the cattle industry.

With dreams of being a public influencer Gabrielle has gotten heavily involved with the public speaking aspect of FFA. She not only is part of public speaking but also participates in showing cattle, livestock judging, and other community activities. Outside of FFA she has also been part of her school’s FCCLA and BPA clubs all four years of high school.

“I just want what’s best for the agriculture community and making a positive impact in the industry,” Gabrielle said is a huge motivation factor for her. Her inspiration to work as hard as she does comes from her grandfather. “My grandpa inspires me everyday to work hard and be the best person I can be. He is a dependable and honest person that is a joy to be around,” Gabrielle said.

Her favorite part of FFA is all the new faces she gets to meet and getting to be a part of an great organization that really strives on no one being left out or behind. “FFA teaches you to work hard and what it means to be a leader,” said Gabrielle.

Balancing such a busy and demanding school life can be difficult for some, but Gabrielle says it is one of the easier things she has to do right now. “Start early and end late, live everyday to the fullest and happiest,” Gabrielle said. She loves what she does and she knows she wouldn’t be able to do all that she does without the support of her family.

After high school Gabrielle plans on attending NOC in Tonkawa with the hopes of then transferring to OSU to earn a degree in agriculture communications.
