Jaxie Wakley Named the 2019 Shelter Insurance Miss Volleyball Oklahoma

VYPE Magazine and Shelter Insurance are proud to announce Jaxie Wakley from Victory Christian School as the 2019 Miss Volleyball Oklahoma award winner. Wakley had an amazing effort this season as a captain for the Lady Conquerors leading them to their third consecutive state title. She recorded 511 kills, 89 blocks, and 342 digs.
“Jaxie is one of the top players in the entire state in any class,” said head coach Dan Donohue.
“We have expanded our player of the year platform with the great people of Shelter Insurance. We have included Miss Volleyball, Miss Softball, Mr. Wrestling, and Mr. Baseball to go along with our long-standing football and basketball awards,” said VYPE Publisher Austin Chadwick. “Shelter has branded themselves beautifully with high school sports in Oklahoma and we are proud to be a part of that.
