OFFENSE
The Morrison Wildcats have an opportunity for another great season. They will need to stay healthy as they compete in a tough district, but head coach Cory Bales feels they are up to the task as they return six starters on both sides of the ball. Gage Williams (5-8, 160, Jr.) will take the reins at quarterback. This offense will feature a good run game with play action. Providing the threat in the run game are Trevor Hughes (5-10, 185, Sr.) and Hunter Goldman (6-2, 195, Sr.). Last season Goldman accounted for 105 rushing yards. Giving Williams a passing option at wide receiver is Gauge Goldman (6-1, 185, Sr.), who had 18 catches and 202 receiving yards last year. Brody Vaughn (6-1, 190, Sr.) will be another great option at tight end. Aaron Harmon (6-3, 215, Sr.) will anchor the offensive line.
DEFENSE
The defense will need to replace some players up front but will be very solid at linebacker and secondary positions. Making up the linebacker corps are Hunter Goldman, who accounted for 105 tackles last season, Brody Vaughn, and Cannon Benson (6-2, 215, Sr.). The secondary has some familiar faces who will start both ways, including Gage Williams and Gauge Goldman as cornerbacks, and Trevor Hughes at safety.
