The Bulldogs had an incredible 2018 season, making a state semifinals appearance, where they lost to Class B state champion Shattuck. If they remain healthy this year, they are set to have a great season with another deep run in the playoffs. Carson Funk (5-10, 170, Jr.) takes the reins at quarterback to lead this pro-style offense. Last year Funk accounted for 26 carries for 285 yards and 14 receptions for 285 yards. The Bulldogs have strong offensive and defensive line play. In fact, head coach John Greenfield feels this team will be as good as they have ever been in both lines. Wyatt Cross (6-0, 258, Sr.) and Jaxon Walker (6-2, 208, Sr.) will be key players on the O-line. The offense also benefits greatly from returning tight ends Kyle Hobill (6-2, 200, Sr.) and Cal Harelson (6-5, 185, Sr.). Together these two combined for 47 receptions and 745 yards last season. Look for Hobill to play running back when needed.

Jaxon Walker and Wyatt Cross are essential on this side of the ball as well, with Walker at linebacker and Cross on the line. Together they had 186 tackles and three interceptions last year. Pepper Acord (6-0, 195, Jr.) returns to his linebacker spot looking to top his 82 tackles and two interceptions from last fall. Kyle Hobill also returns to the defense at end, with Cal Harelson at the other end. Defensive back Carson Funk helps shore up the secondary as he adds to his 72 tackles and eight interceptions from last year.
