Stillwater’s Chelsea Wooldridge – Mom of the Month Presented by Stillwater Women’s Clinic

Chelsea Wooldridge’s commitment and hard work for the Lady Pioneer softball team has earned her Stillwater Mom of the Month. Pioneer softball coach Karie Linsenmeyer took notice of her dedication to the team and nominated her. Wooldridge has taken charge and has been able to help the team in just about every way possible.

“Chelsea is the biggest cheer leader the Lady Pioneer softball program has. She is basically our secretary, social media promoter and communication liaison. I honestly dread the day we lose her services. Chelsea will be hard to replace; a true selfless individual.” said coach Linsenmeyer.

Mrs. Wooldridge got involved with Pioneer athletics when her daughter started playing for the school in sixth grade. Her daughter is now going into her Junior year at Stillwater High School. She plays for the Pioneer softball team as well as the Oklahoma Steele team.

She has now served on the softball booster club for almost five years and has been a representative for the Pioneer booster club for the past two years. Wooldridge is also the team manager for the Oklahoma Steele softball team.

Having a position in the booster club was perfect for her. She’s always had a passion for helping others in anyway she can. Her passion for helping others is the main reason for joining the organization.

“I enjoy being a part of the planning and executing of activities, so it made sense for me to have a position within the club. I enjoy working with all the softball parents and helping out in whatever way I can!” she said. “I love helping others and seeing the girls having fun.”

Wooldridge inspires to help the booster club make the lives of the new players and parents a little easier. She was once in their position and understands that it can be overwhelming.

“When my daughter was in the sixth grade and it was her first year, we were so lost and so confused on who was what and we were supposed to be doing!”

Wooldridge loves meeting new faces each season. She also enjoys being able to be one of the first people the parents and girls hear from.
