Returning state qualifier, Spencer Schickram, enters his senior season as one of the top wrestlers in his weight class. Schickram made the state tournament at 138-pounds last year.
This season he is off to an amazing start. Schickram won the always-tough Perry Tournament of Champions. Something every wrestler wants on their resume. Schickram also won the Larry Wilkey Invitational at Jenks High School and followed that up with a tournament win at the Jerry Billings Invitational at Sapulpa High School.
Schickram has proven to the field, he has what it takes to be a champion.
Head coach Jared Wynn said of Schickram, “He is wrestling really well this season with only two loses to kids who are from out-of-state. He is undefeated in duals.”
Spencer Schickram will get to make his case for the title of Mr. Wrestling Oklahoma at the state tournament.
